The Cozy Christmas Planner is made by Jenny Laine Designs, LLC in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. This page explains what the planner saves and how you can reach us about it.
What we save
- Your account email and sign-in details.
- What you write in your planner: gifts, people, budgets, plans, meals, recipes, groceries, journal entries, notes, and sticker placements.
- Recipe photos, PDFs, and custom stickers you upload.
- Answers people send through gift survey links you share.
- Wish lists and gift preferences guests save through your share links, along with the email they verify with (kept as a secure hash, and never shown to anyone).
- A record of your purchases (what you bought, the amount, and the date).
Who can see it
Your planner records and uploads are private to your account. Gift survey answers are visible only to the planner owner who shared the link. Wish lists and gift preferences guests save are visible only through their own share link, and — after an owner imports them — to that planner owner. The guest's email address is never shown to anyone, including the shop owner. As the shop owner, we can see customer emails, sign-up and last sign-in dates, and purchase records so we can support your order.
Lists and surveys from guests
When you save a wish list or gift preferences through a share link, we use your email only to send you a one-time code so you can edit or share your own list. Sharing is off until you turn it on, and a shared link shows your list — never your email. Only the planner owner you share it with can bring it into their planner, and they choose what to import. Guests should contact the person who shared the link with them; the shop cannot see guest email addresses.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe on its secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and are not stored in the planner. Stripe shares your email and purchase details with us so we can connect your order to your account.
Sign-in in your browser
Your browser keeps a small record so you stay signed in, and may remember choices like whether you selected the gratitude journal at checkout.
How long we keep it
Your records stay in your account while you use it. Accounts that haven't been used for 3 years may be removed. Wish lists and gift preferences guests save are deleted one year after their last edit. Purchase records may be kept longer for tax and accounting.
Downloading or deleting your data
You can download your planner anytime from Settings. To delete your account and planner records, email hello@jennylainedesigns.com from the email on your account.
